UPME Twitter Hashtag Field
UPME Twitter Hashtag Field allows users to define a # tag for the tweets created from UPME profile. This works as a normal custom field and located in the profile fields section of UPME profile. This feature allows you to promote a specific keywork through # tag in Twitter.
First, you have to create Twitter Hashtag field from the custom fields section. Once, Social connect addon is installed, you will get a new field type in UPME Custom Fields section called Twitter Hashtag Field as shown in the following screenshot. You can configure the settings for this field as needed. However, some of the available settings may not work for this field as its different to a normal custom field.
Once Twitter Hashtag field is created, you will see it in the View Profile section of user profiles as a custom field. In Edit Profile section, you will be allowed to define a # tag and use Hide from Public checkbox.
Define Twitter # Tag
Once the field is created, you will see it inside the edit profile as shown in the following screenshot (Please note that other profile fields are omitted). You have to specify a hashtag you want your users to tweet about.
Display Twitter Hashtag Field
Once the field is created and Twitter # tag is specified, you will see it inside the profile as shown in the following screenshot. Users can use the tweet button to send tweets with the specified # tag.
