UPME Contacts Admin Settings

User contacts provides a settings panel for administrators to configure the contact settings for all users.

Let’s take a look at the available contact settings for administrator.

  • Display Contact Profile Tab– This is used to enable/disable the contact tab for all the users of your site. Once this setting is enabled, you will have access to the other settings shown in the screenshot.
  • Display Contact Form – This option is used to enable/disable contact form for all the users of the site. If disabled, users and guests will not be able to contact the users through email.
  • Display Google Map Location – This option is used to enable/disable google map in contact details section for all the users of the site.
  • Display Address – This option is used to enable/disable address in contact details section for all the users of the site.
  • Display Contact Email – This option is used to enable/disable email in contact details section for all the users of the site.
  • Display Contact Telephone – This option is used to enable/disable telephone in contact details section for all the users of the site.

 

User Profile Contact Settings

Once the user is logged in, user will have access to their own contact settings section inside the contacts tab in profile as shown in the following screenshot.

  • Location– Profile owner can use this field to define their location using an autocomplete google map field.
  • Email– Profile owner can use this field to add a publicly displayed email to the contact details section.
  • Telephone– Profile owner can use this field to add a publicly displayed telephone number to the contact details section.
  • Address– Profile owner can use this field to add a publicly displayed address to the contact details section.
  • Contact Form Status– This is used to enable/disable the contact form in your own profile.
  • Contact Tab Status– This is used to enable/disable the contact tab in your own profile.
